You are the first person that I thought about when I was thinking about people that have impacted my life. I have always looked up to you- from you sharing your life stories with us to your sense of humor that just keeps everyone laughing. The moment that really impacted me was last summer in Ensenada when I really didn’t know what my role on the trip was. You gave me so much responsibility on the team and I was proud of myself for how I stepped up for the challenge. The belief you had in me to keep our team working as one and the trust you had in me when I was basically put in charge of the whole roof. It made me feel like I could finally be the leader I wanted to be and I could show you and all the other leaders what kind of Godly woman each of you had, in some way, molded me into. The impact you had on me has been lasting because I trust myself with hard challenges instead of shrinking away and I have become more confident in my leadership roles. Dan, you rock!
